Artur Popek

Born: May 26, 1960 in Szczebrzeszyn, Poland. Studied Psychology and Fine Arts at the M. Curie-Sklodowska in Lublin. Graduated in graphic arts under prof. Danuta Kowzan-Nowicka in 1984. Professor in the Department of Graphics at the M. Curie-Sklodowska in Lublin. Art director of the Society for Arts in Chicago. Designs prints and makes illustrations for books and magazines, including Nowy Dziennik in New York. Recipient of numerous prestigious awards. Resides in Lublin with his wife Ewa, daughter Ania and son Krzys.
