SYNOPSIS
Riveting, fast paced, compelling and filled with humor GODS is the story of the rebel cardiac surgeon, Zbigniew Religa, who performed the first successful heart transplant in Soviet controlled Poland in 1984. Battling everyone including fellow doctors, the communist bureaucracy and a shocked religious community Religa, with the support of his renegade medical team, made history and became a national hero.
Played by excellent cast: Tomasz Kot, Jan Englert and Zbigniew Zamachowski accompanied by young, talented actors: Piotr Głowacki, Szymon Piotr Warszawski, Rafał Zawierucha, Magdalena Czerwińska.
The film will be presented on May 21st at Harkins Scottsdale 101 Theatre (7000 E. Mayo Blvd. Phoenix, AZ 85054).
